Okay, maybe the forecast was right for once - or maybe I have some clout with the weather-gods and they heard my plea yesterday and decided to accomodate my wishes.  Either way, the sun came out late yesterday afternoon, and is still there this morning!  And the temperature is going up too, to make it all feel like true spring.

Sure made it tough to go to work though, instead of just taking my coffee onto the balcony and enjoying the sunshine and relaxing.

Okay, normally I'm all for partnerships, collaborations, alliances, etc., but... 

The unholy pact between winter and spring to create one long, dismal, damp, grey season is really driving me crazy!  Instead of two lovely, distinct, enjoyable seasons, each with their own good points (and bad points too), we get a single season that is depressing, sad, cold and crappy.  Enough already - I want some sun and I want it now!  The weather forecast is calling for sun and warmth this weekend, but I choose to withhold any sort of anticipatory joy until it actually happens.
